A community mental health board will improve mental health services in our community.
Police officers answered 973 calls related to mental health and/or substance use crisis.
Of those calls, more than 1/4 were related to suicidal thoughts.
Overdose deaths were up 33% in Illinois in 2020.
Illinois is 4th for highest number of people waiting for intellectual/development disability services.
A 708 Board coordinates a comprehensive system of services to help people with these needs.
