Advocate for 708 hosts open house fundraiser to support the creation of 708 community mental health boards in Illinois.

Join fellow advocates at an open house fundraiser hosted by Advocate for 708,  Together we will celebrate the nine 708 Community Mental Health Boards we helped create through successful township tax referendums from 2017-2023 and raise funds to support referendum advocacy campaigns planned for 2024 and beyond for townships in Cook, DuPage, and Lake Counties.
The open house fundraiser will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Family Life Center of Trinity Lutheran Church located at 405 S. Rush Street in Roselle.  It will feature short educational presentations from community leaders and mental health professionals plus an assortment of delectable treats generously provided by The Sweet Spot Bakery in Lisle.

Vermillion County 708 Board held a Community Health Assessment stakeholders meeting. They reviewed current Illinois Project for Local Assessment of Needs (IPLAN) goals, heard from priority workgroups, reviewed a recent community assessment survey and community data, and selected the top four priorities for the next three-year period to focus on.
